The series organizer, Jon Baytos, has accepted, that the

Currently Radical has four distributors interested in
running cars in the Series. Radical West in California,
Radical South based in Atlanta, Radical Funktion Auto in
Virginia and Radical Florida who are expanding into New
York as well as Florida.
John Morris of Radical West trucked two cars over to
Road Atlanta for the test while Eric Vassian and Dan
McBreen of Radical South attended the test with a works
SR4. Barry Smith of Radical Florida drove the 700 miles
to attend the test and meet with Baytos.
Slim Borgudd, Radical's Distributor Manager and Radical
co-founder Mick Hyde were also in attendance.
Slim elaborated, "This new Series offers Radical and its
US distributors a great opportunity to run Radicals at
the highest level in US motor sport. Only three
manufacturers are eligible to supply cars and each
manufacturer will have a say in the technical
regulations.
The American Le Mans Series is the best Endurance race
Series in the US, supported by Audi in P1 and Porsche in
P2. This year two Radical SR9s will compete in the
closing rounds of the Series. We see the IMSA Lites
Series acting as a feeder series for Radical Drivers
wishing to reach the highest level of Sports Prototype
racing in the US. I will be working closely with Jon
Baytos and our US distributors to ensure this series is
a success.
Radical cars will be available in various race
specifications. Please consult your authorized radical
distributor for series details and pricing.
Full details of the series, including costs, will be
issued by the organizers' in the next few days.
