FunKtion Auto was founded by car enthusiasts to provide complete personalized and specialized service in selling, tuning, customizing, and maintaining high performance vehicles. As a group, we have the ability to provide our customers with a complete experience that ranges from defining their automotive needs, to purchasing, customizing and tuning. The experience we offer culminates with us taking our clients to race tracks where we offer instruction on driving vehicles near the limits at which they were designed to perform.

The need for FunKtion came out of frustration; a lack of a professional one-stop-shop for purchasing, tuning, repairing, storing, and transporting both your every-day automobile as well as single and dual purpose race cars. After extensive market research in the Washington DC area, it was apparent that the region lacked not only a complete one-stop-shop experience, especially for track events, but also a shop as enthusiastic about cars as they were about customer service.

The Spectrum consists of new/used car dealers on one side, with specialized tuners and Auto Clubs on the other. Demand for Track Day events have gone through the roof in the last few years, yet there has been no one able to handle the demand; until now. We offer the ability to take all of our customers to local and regional tracks such as Summit Point WV, Virginia International Raceway, Watkins Glen NY, etc. We will host a minimum of 8 events during each calendar year. Our group consists of:

Maintenance and Service: Highly professional and skilled service department to handle all automotive needs. Specializing in European/import automobiles, the service department is sure to get the job done right while maintaining an incredible level of customer service.

Auto Sales: Boutique dealership for selling single purpose and dual-purpose race cars, high performance cars and accessories. Trackday events are offered at local and regional race tracks for an exceptional experience that will teach our customers how to drive their cars on a racetrack.

Tuning: In-house high performance tuning and maintenance services using best-of-breed professionals for imports and domestic cars. FunKtion Tuning also offers race car preparation and fabrication.

Racing: FunKtion Racing will have a race team using the Radical SR3 Supersport that will try to capture SCCA Regional and National wins. We will also be focusing on creating a new regional series based on the Radical SR3.

Club - With access to secured, air controlled storage facilities and the lounge, FunKtion Auto Club is a car club for car enthusiasts. Members are welcome to join us during social "Car Centric" events, such as Formula One, Le Mans, Daytona racing viewings and other social gatherings.
